July 28, 2016
1 Year, 7 months and 21 days since
our Reunion.
This note is not only to acknowledge the memories of our time at Booker T. Washington High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma, but to say “look at us now.”  Known as the mighty Hornets, the class of 1966 still has fond memories of the football games at Hornet Stadium, baseball, swimming, wrestling and basketball teams, the awesome marching band, high-stepping majorettes / drum majors and our award-winning cheerleaders.   The list goes on with our gifted ‘66 scholars, musically talented singers, dancers, actors, musicians, the beautiful ‘66 Miss Hornet and our remarkable Mr. Hornet.   We were blessed with great teachers, principals and counselors too.  Well, time has quickly passed and now we are making plans for our Golden Anniversary Reunion.  The class officers and many of our classmates have been meeting to create a solid strategy to produce the best reunion of any class in Booker T’s history.  As the president, it is a privilege and an honor to work with such supportive and enthusiastic members of our class.  We are inviting all of Tulsa to celebrate with us as we step toward our destiny in 2016 celebrating our 50th Class Reunion.
We are inviting you to join us with either our Scholarship Program for deserving seniors or as a donor through our souvenir brochure campaign.  One can secure a full-page ad for $100, half-page for $50 or a business card ad for just $25.  You may make checks payable to:  BTW Class of 1966 and it will be tax-deductible. For more information, please feel free to contact us by email at:  66btwalumni@gmail.com.
An investment in the humanities and education of Booker T. Washington High School, Tulsa, Oklahoma, is an investment in the quality of life for graduating seniors, as well as the economic well-being of their future.
